Search and E-mail
When one thinks about this moment in time, it is hard to miss the wonderful
opportunity we have been given to learn and communicate with each other, made
possible largely by the search and e-mail functionalities of the Internet.
Search and e-mail have connected us at a level never seen before in human
history. But having these resources and using them to move beyond are
two different things.
If we are going to learn from this war, discover how to transform our culture
and retire the institution of war
permanently, we need to focus our efforts.
And, we need to network with others to
amplify our efforts.
If you feel connected to the campaign of moving beyond the war in Iraq,
please use the resources of this Web site to your advantage. Contact your
friends and relatives through e-mail or other traditional means, and let them
know how they, too, can make a difference.
Finally, there are probably MANY other ways one can use the Internet to
promote the movement beyond war. Search on your own, look for what moves you
personally, and make your efforts count.
Working together, we can retire the institution of war - once
and for all.
